a song in 5/4. four acoustic guitar tracks, bass guitar, drums, and three vocals. tracked and mixed in Nuendo using both Steinberg CI2 and Presonus FireStudio converters.
i used a guitar tuning borrowed from Dashboard Confessional for the two main guitars, and E standard for the other two. 5-string bass in standard tuning.
i used an AKG C414 for vocals and guitars. drums were mic'ed with a Shure Beta 52A, SM57, Unidyne III 545SD, AKG C414, a dbx RTA mic, and an Audix Fusion drum mic pack. bass was DI into an amp modeler VST. the Rhodes patch at the end was ReWired via Reason into Nuendo.
